Chapter 8

Today I took a step forward. I was terrified, and coward in the face of change. But, I pushed through and it ended up being great. I went to my interview and got the internship. Come September I shall be an actual writer for an actual newspaper; a real honest to god paper. People will be able to search my name and see a literal body of work. Today I took a step in the direction of a career. Honestly, who knows whether I'm really going to end up as a journalist. But, I'm proud of myself for going for this anyway. "I won't let being afraid of change stop me from being successful," I say that all the time. But today I actually did it.
